    Sidearms & Scatterguns I want a .45 tactical compact...your thoughts

Re: I want a .45 tactical compact...your thoughts I didnt care for the fn tactical. The adjustable backstrap peices felt very thin and cheap. When you attach a lanyard to one, it has a lot of flex. Also the the trigger hinge pin on mine and many others would walk out while shoooting and make...

Sidearms & Scatterguns HK .45 or Sig sp2022 or 1911

Re: HK .45 or Sig sp2022 or 1911 Sig makes some decent guns from time to time, but the 2022/sigpro was never one of them. For the less than a grand combat guns.....glock, M&P(without any of the mag or thumb safeties), HK(lem's) have served me well.

Sidearms & Scatterguns What 45 to buy????

Re: What 45 to buy???? Ive owned the following. Sig- suffering qc for yrs. The "dark models" have horrible adjustable sights that are loose and will not hold zero. Glock 21 sf- still does not fit my hand but will run and run and run. hk45- great gun in both compact and fullsize. The trigger...

Sidearms & Scatterguns pistol in 357sig - recommendations?

Re: pistol in 357sig - recommendations? Ive owned a sig 226 in 357 and a g32. The glock of course was easier to carry, but was hard for me to shoot accurately. To me the 357 sig was just too snappy for the glock. It was quite comfortable in the sig.

Re: iwb holster sugestion for big 45's TT gunleather has some very comfortable iwb holsters. They are similar to the vm2 but are more affordable and easier to get. A little thinner too. I carry a fullsize wilson cqb elite in mine under a t shirt.

    Sidearms & Scatterguns I want a .45 tactical compact...your thoughts

Re: I want a .45 tactical compact...your thoughts I sold a hk45c that I carried daily for several yrs. I installed the lem trigger and night sights and it was a great gun. The short light rail on it is completely useless for anything other than a compact light such a the tlr3 or a small...

Sidearms & Scatterguns Random question? Hk Usp vs Springfield 1911

Re: Random question? Hk Usp vs Springfield 1911 Be careful the 1911 addiction is an expensive one. Started with springfields ans SW's and quickly ammassed a collection wilsons and guncrafters within a few yrs. I carry a usp on duty...but not by choice. Once you train with a 1911 nothing...

Suppressors Threaded vs. quick detach suppressor?

Re: Threaded vs. quick detach suppressor? I have quickly moved from the ratchet to the thread on camp. No question it is the more accurate method for a bolt gun.Even for a SA, just leave the suppressor on all time...unless you are hunting I guess.

    Rifle Scopes Trijicon accupoint scopes?

Re: Trijicon accupoint scopes? I had and sold the 5-20x50 mildot. Pros .......Good glass, not too heavy,no batteries, good lowlight. Cons.......Not much elevation travel, moa turrets, sfp, tracking was suspect. Shot two hogs and a racoon from 100+ yards both at night under a very dim feeder...

Rifle Scopes IOR Valdada anyone use them?

Re: IOR Valdada anyone use them? I have used a couple of IORs and my favorite hands down is the 3.5-18x50. The feel of the knobs could be better and the ret could be finer at 18 mag....but its a great scope. I have mine on a lmt 308 ar.
