Ok guys I needed to pass this on to you all. A few years back I read a post by orkan on here about cleaning carbon out of barrels with CLR.
Well, ive been using it ever since. Works like a charm. It got me thinking about the carbon deposits in...
Turning necks isnt for factory guns, can you do it? Sure, but isn't kind of a waste of time, right along with sorting bullets and brass. The only reason I turn necks is to get consistency in my neck tension, get low run out or concentricity to a very minimum in my bullet/case.
Consistency is...
A mandrel pushes any imperfections from the inside of the neck to the outside.
If im going to go about opening the necks up and pushing things out then I have time to turn the crap off the outside of the neck. Clean it up and dont worry about it.

I use to weight sort by volume h2o. It's more reliable than weighing the actual brass. Once sorted the brass kept its place in the box for several firings, then id check them occatio ally to see where they were. I wasn't seeing much gain. Then one day I went to leave my mat and picked up my box...
That what I was hoping but It will not save to a profile. I can save it all day long but it doesnt log it or attach the setting profile to the bullet profile. Frusterating as hell. Just defaults to mrad and I'm a moa shooter. Then when you go to the load profile it says no setting profile...
Kifaru is slightly heavier, because it's built to withstand what you can cram into it. Kuiu is lighter because it's made from lighter material.
Kifaru has a way better frame, the load lifters actually do their jobs.
Sawtoothshooter has a lot of good points. Except he forgot to add the fact...
1. Crams more shit in the garbage than the garbage can hold. If it's full take the fucker out. Bags are cheap.
2. Or after the garbage is overflowing decides to actually take it out, but wait it now has room in it to shove more shit in it, so it sits next to the garbage tell it's over flowing...
Well the sig 365 with 12 round mags won out for me. Shoots great, easy to conceal and 12+1. Whats not to like about that. Hope to carry it as much as I did the old p238, for the next 20years or until the next new gadget comes out.

Hey Jaybic,
Good to see youre still alive. I havent been on nodak in years and coyotehunter got shut down for the most part. Ive been on here since about 2000-2001 or so, through all the site changes. Not as many people back than.
I love my magnetospeed but it really messes with my poa/poi...
I skimmed through the thread and didn't see anyone suggest to you to have someone else run your gun. Find a buddy and have him/her print a few groups just to rule it out.
I've had friends do this in the past with me, it's surprising.
How many rounds do you have down the barrel?
Another...
The 9.5t that i mentioned was a sako 243, basically the same as the tikka. The tikka shoot great and bolts are nice and smooth. There are a few things I'm not a huge fan of with them, but it'll kill Coyotes just the same. Id say burn the barrel up and spin a new one on.

You'll be fine with that 80-90 range. I was just giving you a cousion of error. Youre better overstabilizing a bit.
I was shooting the 80-90 in a 9.5t. But 10 should do ya.
I know for sure that if you go to the 95 bergers that you'll need a 9. I tried them in my 9.5 and they didnt work...
I use my bighorn tl3 for everything. But I'm a flat lander here in ND. So not many hills around here. 800-1300asl.
But when I go out of state I'll swap barrels and stocks. I'll keep my scope as its familiar but swapping everything out really saves a pile of weight.

Cats are a whole different deal. They have super thin skin and will blow up easy.
4-600 is doable with the bullets that I mentioned above.
I typically like to go up to that 105 range to get a slight ballistic advantage, but you'll do fine.
For 80-90 you'll get away with a 9 twist.
95-105...
If youre going to run the 80-90 grn bullets and want to save hides, I had really good luck with;
Sierra 85grn spt flat base
Sierra 85grn hpbt
Hornady 87grn hpbt
The 90grn bergers blew huge holes.
You might want to try the sierra 90grn tmk. I have not tried this projectile so I cant tell you...
