Rifle Scopes Nightforce ATACR. Complete failure!

I am still curious what happened to his scope, because there are some other folks who claim the similar issue with 7-35 F1 regading zero stop here on the SH. No one came back and report what was wrong...interesting.

    Rifle Scopes K525 SUCKS !!!!! SB PM2 5-25 vs K525 VS TT525P

Yes, that way it is true. My point was (maybe badly explained), that in both cases, equpiment (sound system / scope) distorts the original source (record / natural view). Thanks

    Rifle Scopes K525 SUCKS !!!!! SB PM2 5-25 vs K525 VS TT525P

With high respect to you, why do you think so? In both cases (audio vs. optics) we only try to get as close as we can to the source quality. No any audio or optics can reproduce 100% what original source does (human voice live, what eye see naturally). All we can do is try to get as close to...

    Rifle Scopes K525 SUCKS !!!!! SB PM2 5-25 vs K525 VS TT525P

every time I hear about IQ "wow factor" my mind starts to tell me "beware". If wow factor is complete with shiny colours, brightness, DOF, CA etc. then I found myself be very carefull of that particular optic. This is like sound quality war at high-end audio systems. Spending 25 years in audio...

    Rifle Scopes Counterfeit Spuhr Mount?

1st gen of ISIS mount was prone to crack on rings (at outer screw holes where is no enough material left).

    parallax/magnification

I have already tried it with ATACR F1 7-35 scope. If you adjust parallax at higher magnification carefully and then lower the magnification, image stays clear / crisp with reticle in focus. If you do it in reverse mode from low magnification, you probably do not adjust parallax correctly...

    parallax/magnification

I do not think so it is normal, because in this case you should adjust parallax each time you touch your mag ring. After you adjusted your diopter to the crosshair for your eye, and then looking through your scope to exactly the same distance (object) at different magnifications with parallax...

Rifle Scopes Mounting rings REALLY close to objective?

personal experience with SB PMII 4-16x50 mounted with one piece mount with front ring very close to objective cone area. No problem at all. But be beware, that you leave small distance between main tube and taper, otherwise damage to the tube or ring can occur...

    Rifle Scopes NF ATACR parallax

...do you see three small screws on parallax ring knob at ATACR F1 7-35? I am thinking of which they are for. If they hold the ring with distance scale markings only, it could be possible to readjust this scale to your eyes to match closer meter/yardage marks vs. real distance. Maybe it could...

Rifle Scopes How far off is your parallax adjustment?

parallax error pop up with more magnification you are using. For example SB PMII 4-16x50 is very forgiving with parallax and knob marking is spot on at a sample I am working with. But with more zoom we are using and closer distances we are shooting, parallax become picky and sensitive for...

    Rifle Scopes NF ATACR parallax

I have been playing with 7-35 F1 today ad it looks very sensitive to the diopter setting. I also verified each distance with Leica Rangemaster 1600. I have found that parallax is off by small drift, but not that bad as some posted here. My thought is to carefully set the diopter (and lock it...

    Rifle Scopes NF ATACR parallax

what year or S/N range of the 7-35 F1 you are talking about? Which reticle?

Rifle Scopes SB PMII Ultra Bright scopes 3-12x54 and 4-16x56

Langford Thank you very much for your minireview of 4-16 T96, unfortunately I can not visit you, because I live in Europe.

Rifle Scopes SB PMII Ultra Bright scopes 3-12x54 and 4-16x56

could you share your experience with T96? It looks that 4-16UB is the same in optical quality. How are the eyebox, parallax, FOV, tunneling, image sharpness to the edges, distortion and depth of view on your T96? Which reticle do you have?

Rifle Scopes SB PMII Ultra Bright scopes 3-12x54 and 4-16x56

Roger that. No love for 4-16x56 UB, however old 4-16x50 has been / still is / favoured by many of us... I have found one "bad" thing on 4-16x56 P4FL reticle, which is thickness of the central illuminated cross : 0.07mil (!), whereas other thin lines are 0.035mil :-( Who the hell invented this...

Rifle Scopes SB PMII Ultra Bright scopes 3-12x54 and 4-16x56

...which I already know from tech. specs from manufacturer. But these parameters, except FOV, are not so important for me, because the scope will be sitting on a bolt rifle. Length of the scope and 4x erector is good for image quality (depth and edge sharpness) - tolerances are not so critical...

Rifle Scopes SB PMII Ultra Bright scopes 3-12x54 and 4-16x56

Why I have not seen any single review or personal experience based thoughts about these Schmidt Bender PMII Ultra Bright scopes? My interest is mainly about 4-16x56 version, but 3-12 would be fine too. I read all technical specs and watched all videos available. Manufacturer said that they...

Rifle Scopes My Hensoldt 4-16x56 FFP Review

so here is my promised observation on second Henny ZF4-16x56 FF scope I have access to. This second scope does not have "fuzzy" image near edges, the picture stays clear and sharp. Only one thing remains the same - distortion of image. These scopes have definitely picky parralax setting. It is...

    Rifle Scopes USO Optical Quality?

could you please compare surface finish on an old vs. new series of USO scopes (etc. MR, LR, ER line vs. B-series) ? I have seen that USO write (on factory boxes - stickers) the same type of surface finish on both: "Matte Black - Type III Hard Anodizing". I have an old MR-10 and LR-17 scopes and...

Rifle Scopes My Hensoldt 4-16x56 FFP Review

I only wrote what I have found myself on these scopes looking through. My eyes are OK, no wearing glasses. I have tried my best to share my findings only. I do not trash or blame Hensoldt / Zeiss company. Henny scope has SN 4311xx and it is for service rifle (Law Enforcement). I would not buy...
