    Tikka m595 build questions ?

    I have a couple m595's that I would like to build and have a few questions. Does anyone make bottom metal for this action ? What are my options for stocks? Can I modify T3 Items to work with m595? Anyone got pics of 595 builds I need some inspiration. Thanks Corey

    Rifle Scopes rail for CZ 550

    Re: rail for CZ 550 I have a CZ 550 varmint .308 that I rechambered in 6.5x47, USO makes a 20 moa rail, Farrel makes one also. I have shot my CZ in both .308 and 6.5x47 out to 1000 yards without a rail, without problems using a Mark 4 scope in Leupold rings.

    Re: best range finder Congrats on the 338, I would recommend the leica 1600 it works great it won't range 2000 yards but it will range 1500 or so well enough, it compliments my 338 very well if I need a longer range you have to get creative which is okay it's not like your gonna be taking...

    Re: Lapua 260 Brass Skeetlee you are spot on, I have a 47 and absolutely love it. I don't know how a 260 could be better they seem identical except the 47 is more efficient.

    I have had a problem with stiff bolt lift in my 338 and I think that I have fiqured out that I am way over pressure. A gunsmith ran my numbers thru quickload and he assured me that I was way overpressure. So I borrowed 2 cases of new brass from a friend and lowered my charge down from 92...

    I helped a buddy of mine put a Mcgowen prefit barrel on his Savage and after we adjusted headspace and tightened the barrel nut down the lettering was top dead center. Is that right ?
