    Favorite AR trigger

Geissele hands down, there is enough variety for any application. After visiting the factory and getting an in depth tour, I will continue to spend $ on anything they make. The focus on perfection and inspection is beyond words. There are very few companies I can think of that CARE about...

Movie Theater Screen time for little one, while he's weaned off entirely

PJ Masks is another good option in addition to the above mentioned. Also anything on the Sprout network, now Universal Kids is ok, this includes Super Wings and The Chica Show I think. Remember Sesame Street is still a good choice and at least has some child focused lessons too. Good luck and...

Sidearms & Scatterguns Beretta 92fs slide not locking bad after last round

I have some experience with this symptom. But before we get to the mags do yourself a favor and replace the locking block, before it bites you in the ass by breaking. Also check it during every cleaning and try to replace around 5k or less depending on the power of ammo used. You can get...

What is going on with my GAP rig?!

You are correct and I missed that. My sarcasm and sardonic comment most likely didn't contribute, good luck with the diagnostics on the rifle.

What is going on with my GAP rig?!

I agree, it is expensive. All sarcasm aside, it may still be cheaper than trying to figure it out by yourself.

What is going on with my GAP rig?!

I would continue to take shit apart and try to self diagnose your problem until neither vendor wants to help with your problem. Oh, wait you already started that when you took the muzzle device off. Good job, keep ignoring good advice when you ask for help on a forum. Stop tinkering and send...

Rifle Scopes Bushnell will not honor 30% off Elite Tactical scopes

I ordered through Brownells in anticipation that it may get messy. When/if my rebate gets rejected after providing the correct form that does NOT mention the Tactical line, my first call will be to the CC company and see if they can do some heavy lifting on my behalf.

    AR Accuracy or Lack of

There is a slim chance that his is related to fouling, stress on the slim. The patch turning or not doesn't do much, in my opinion. What ever quality solvent you are using would do the majority of the work, not the patch. Here is a suggestion, you have lost confidence in your system. You may...

    Rifle Scopes 1x6 Scope Advice

Have you looked at the Vortex PST GenII? It has a decent mil reticle for holdover and a nice bright dot that is daylight bright. Its not Razor clear glass, but comparing it to an older S&B ShortDot, the PST GenII holds its own for a good price.

Demo how to cut foam in rifle case from Optics Planet

The Havalon knives with replaceable scalpel blades work just fine for detail work, just lay the foam on the floor or a hard work table and make plunging vertical cuts. Checking SN#'s isnt always a TSA requirement, but should be a personal accountability check when you get your case back in your...

    Shot Show 2014 advise

My plan when I go is pretty simple. Take a backpack and fill it with brochures, at lunchtime go to back to the hotel and download. I don't use the rolling carts for the simple fact that they are cumbersome and trip people. Take the time to change socks and shoes before heading back. Eat...

Smith & Wesson I Bolt in 30.06, feedback requested

Re: Smith & Wesson I Bolt in 30.06, feedback requested I do not have hands on use of these rifles but, when they first came out I talked to a trusted S&W rep. He simply stated "S&W makes excellent handguns". That was enough for me, there are many good alternatives and the $400 price tag is...

    SOCOM 16 Problem

Re: SOCOM 16 Problem He doesn't use it as a host anymore. He had one endcap strike and when he got the suppressor back we tried it again and the poi shift was so dramatic that he said screw it and is fine not using a suppressor on his M1A.

    Items stolen/burglary

Re: Items stolen/burglary If you are a member of the NRA I'm pretty sure that they have a standard $2K of insurance for guns. It doesn't touch your loss, but its better than nothing. Sorry about your luck.
