    Yeah, but I’m not cutting on an 8,000 dollar rifle. And since I have all three bolts, that means I’d either have to have all three bolts bushed ($600+) or buy a new firing pin/safety assembly for the 308 bolt only ($675 plus $200 for the bushing job).

    Yeah, I’m not sure I buy there are any gas guns that can shoot a 10 round sub-MOA group on demand (not “I did it once,” but “Let’s go, I’ll do it right now,”). I just ordered a 24” Long Range. So we will see.

    AI says no SFP AXMC bolts. Not going to throw a name under the bus, but the guy who says no, I would tend to believe. Very disappointed in AI’s handling of this problem. I would really recommend you not buy a 6.5 AXMC barrel.

    Finally got sick of fucking with my AXMC piercing primers in 6.5, so I’m thinking about another gun. Are the 20” 6.5 MWSs shooting worth a shit, or is this going to be something else that will wind up pissing me off and requiring lots of TLC to get it to shoot well and function correctly?

    I would say you have. If it weren’t an issue, AI wouldn’t have come out with SFP short action bolts. Why they haven’t done it for the owners of their flagship rifle is a mystery to me.

    The AXMC is awesome, but don’t count on being able to shoot 6.5CM with it without piercing primers. I’m about to buy a small pin AT just to shoot 6.5.

    You really want a picture of the Life Member card I actually wiped my ass with and sent back to the NRA? The problem I experienced was that I couldn't get much visible shit to stick to the plastic, so the picture I did take right before I dropped it in the envelope doesn't really show much.
