    Magpul DT-PR Stock

I've heard that it can also depend on the receiver extension. I have a DT PR coming this week I'm going to try out and see how I like it.

Ballistic Cal Don’t Match Actually Shots

I'm kinda glad I didn't get a Garmin to be honest haha...it's like the universe was saying "just wait a minute".

Rifle Scopes Removing rattle can paint from optics

Really? It's been gentle on o-rings and stuff?

Ballistic Cal Don’t Match Actually Shots

Yeah, check your app inputs. I just downloaded the Hornady app and if I go to the 4DOF calculator, select the match burners, and do nothing else then I get a data output similar to yours, around 16" of drop at 300 yards. Changing nothing else except the velocity to 3120 fps, then the data...

Ballistic Cal Don’t Match Actually Shots

OREGUN beat me to it, I got similar numbers running it through JBM and Strelok Pro too. A) Something isn't jiving with the Hornady program. B) You were a little off on the distance, maybe picking up the background instead of the target. Those powers combined could throw you off and make you...

    Appleseed Sucking

I'm using Tech Sights and they're very effective but in my experience, between iron sights and red dots on the same rifle, I'm more accurate with the red dot. Haha no doubt, but it's not all offhand, there's also sitting/kneeling and prone stages with the sling.

    Appleseed Sucking

My brother in Christ you can't shoot an Appleseed AQT with a single shot Anschutz, there are mag changes and time limits involved.

How about a 10/22 with irons? Thank you though for reinforcing that I was sucking lol.

    Appleseed Sucking

I went out to the range today and at the end of the session I shot an AQT target for funsies and wow, I'm rusty. I still got an "expert" score but compared to the last time I shot this target I was down over 20 points and I was exhibiting bad habits, so it'll just have to be something I work...

Maybe I'll rename it "The Target"

    Rifle Zero Target

I'm pretty satisfied with the layout, it's an amalgamation of targets I've seen in the past and it accomplishes the goals I set for it, so it can not only be a zeroing tool but also a training one with some imagination.

    Rifle Zero Target

I made some minor tweeks to the target and tried it out today, I think I'm done. The revised target is on the right and stands out better at distance for zeroing the red dot and the diamonds were enlarged slightly also. Attached is the revised target for those interested.

    MDT wood grip

Not really, it's an AR grip, if you don't like it it's pretty easy to remove it. That being said, the google led me to a place where they make wood AR compatible grips that are more vertical, they look pretty cool so they could be worth checking out...

    AR Take Down Tool

Nice tools! Up until I made this tool I was making due with a wide range of things just like many others but I wanted a specific tool and I made one so I wasn't constantly improvising. The brass and delrin pieces are epoxied in. I've made some other armorer's tools as well from the TM...

    AR Take Down Tool

Over the weekend I realized that it'd be handy to have a single tool to help pop the take down pins since they're pretty tight on my lowers and remove the hammer/trigger pins if/when I want to swap parts. I know there are already tools available that do this but one I found was $25 and I...
