    I ran into that problem while I was modifying an AR-15 pistol grip. Drilling some small pockets into the plastic gave some space for the epoxy to flow into and bite creating a mechanical lock, resolving the issue.

    I don't think it was a bore constriction issue, you'd have to put some serious ooga booga on that sumbitch to constrict the bore diameter enough to start throwing shots on one of those RRA Varmint barrels. This one is a bit of an interesting one but it sounds like it's remedied so no harm no foul.
