    Re: GAP VS SURGEON +1 what Mike said. I either own or have owned Surgeon built rifles, GAP build rifles on Surgeon and Badger actions and AIs. All three are great, accurate, rugged rifles and you can't go wrong with any of them. I have shot them all in field matches with zero issues...

    Re: IS the Jewell THE end all? I have a Surgeon Scalpel with a Jewell trigger. It is very nice, but I had a GAP Badger with a Huber that was very good also. Just depends on what you like, but I can't say either one is better than the other.

    Re: Leica, Zeiss, or Vectronix Range Finder I have owned Zeiss and Swaro range finders and currently have a Terrapin. As was said previously, there is just no comparison the Terrapin is definitely in a class by itself. Pricey, but well worth it.

    Re: what are you using for 3gun comp? I shoot Limited in 3gun comps here. I use a Springfield TGO in .45 ACP, a MSTN built AR15, and a Benelli M4 12 gauge. Both the TGO and Benelli are heavily modified with aftermarket parts.
