    Re: rem 700 action question No, you would have to have it welded up to go down to 22-250 size. In that case it might be easier/better/cheaper to buy a new bolt or sell the action and buy a correct one.

    Re: rem 700 action question I had to look it up to see what a "358 BFG" was but it looks to be a WSM/WSSM bolt face. Unless you have to have other mods you should be able to hang a new WSM barrel on it and go.
