    If you're cutting them deeper, will the long collar still work on mod0? I get the 7 turns, I just used a crush washer. Are you saying not to use a crush washer? I get that for normal suppressor mounts, but since this one lines up on the collar I thought it was okie dokie.

    It's been like 12 years since I built my mod0, but I do remember there being 2 collars. This is just a guess right now, but I think the long collar was for the mod1 with the smaller gas block. Just make sure that your collar is hitting the step in the barrel before the gas block.

    Here is a print from otter creek labs, looks like they used Allen engineerings' print and just scratched out the name. Second Pic is a measurement from my rifle with a WOA barrel. I get full thread engagement with my OCM5, so it's good to go

    I've never been behind the illuminated xtr3, but the old one is significantly better than a viper in every way. When it comes to glass quality, I even prefer the xtr3 over my MK5's. In mild conditions, they may look close to the untrained eye, but in harsh conditions, they really stand apart.

    If you are using them for hunting, it's absolutely worth it. If just for the range, put it toward a kestrel.

    I only have experience with one so far. A 6.5 creed prefit. But it shoots everything I throw down it very well, and cleans easily. I have 1k rounds on it and judging by the fire cracking and wear, or lack thereof; I should get more out of it than previous barrels. I'm working on 2 builds...

    I've never had any fluting done. All the barrels I order from him are MTU profile, so nothing lightweight.

    I've ordered multiple barrels from Anthony for tikkas. All nut barrels, but they've all been excellent and are usually at your doorstep in a week or two. He'll make a shouldered barrel, but last time I checked he wanted you to send in the action.

    I was able to safely get 2800 with 140's from my 20" CTR barrel. No pressure. RL16 and sta-ball will get you speed.

    Your PVA prefit experience

    I've only had experience with one so far. An osprey tikka prefit. While tuning a load for it I couldn't get it to shoot over a 1/2" group, it shot everything so well it's stupid. Planning on ordering some more soon.

    458 from a Rigby. 300 bo on the left for reference. Don't know of any cheap and easy way though.

    Yes, I'd buy again. They've done everything I have expected. PRS: ranging targets out to 1200 yds on a bright sunny day is about max. Darker/cloudy conditions they'll go to what is advertised.
