    Tikka barrel swap?

    My 20" CTR in 6.5 was getting 2580 with hornady factory 140's. I'm getting 2800 with it now loading 140's over RL16 with no pressure signs. Keep the barrel and start reloading. Tikkas are shooters.

    The Magpul AICS mags will NOT work in a Tikka KRG Bravo. I learned this the hard way after failing to read the note on KRG's website. I shaved them down a bit and got them to fit, but it made the lips too flexible and the cartridges would pop out.

    It's not the bolt hitting the retainer pin that's the problem, that's impossible. It's the buffer that hits it causing it to fail eventually.     Speaking of looking like an idiot… Cabelas does have them and the "self destructing in the buffer tube area" that is zillion to one would be that the NEMO BCG isn't long enough to contact the buffer causing the retainer pin to sheer off. So when you open the rifle, shit goes everywhere.
