Camo tape - adhesive - for covering scopes

I like that with this stuff too when the ends start to unravel a bit, it’s just ghille…. My bipod legs and front of the rifle get a fair bit of abuse through brush, and when I was setup in a hedge on tripod in blowing wind, felt all the tails blowing too… felt very one with the brush. Granted...

I concur. I tried the BLK LBL on the MDRX. It was… good enough. Kept the rifle lighter. But less stiff during prone shooting. I like my Atlas for a reason and keep the legs tucked under the stock (180*?) when I as worried about snags.

Looks like you have QD studs in the back. Probably another towards your front in the handguard. I run a QD sling. Think it is a TAB PRS.

I’ve had a MDRX and an SRS. My MDRX wasn’t my favorite, but quality and function was spot on. Used it to ring 1/4 sized IPSC one-handed while doing mock-first-aid on a buddy. At 300yds. Fun trick. Only sold it because moved to a shit state for gun laws. Would have LOVED the micron. 308...

Winston the Cat (15#) and my son (50#). Same age. Winston is a bastard. The most bastardly cat I have EVER met. Per our vet, well in the top 5 most horrible cats she's ever had to examine. Will maul you. Has Mauled the Missus (her cat initially). Repeatedly. He will not lift a paw to any...

Anyone have a place they recommend for paint/coloring work? I usually use the camo coban, wanted to try a Kuiu Verde pattern to match the camo I have. Tried a vinyl wrap myself (not precut, just big old sheet I tried to finagle)… that didn’t look too pretty. Suggestions?

And I thought the brake on my 338 was punishing for nearby shooters.

How far could you hit a 19”W x 24”H target with 100% certainty?

DTA SRS so the Buttspike in back makes it cheating. 700yds in 6.5. 800 with 338 Probably much more; I would commonly drive to TVP and crack a Cold Bore 338LM round at the 1k plates; 9/10. But, I knew they were 1000. Ranging with reticle only past 700 gets more challenging.

2020 F150 Ecotec V6 and 6.5 bed. Love it. 6.5 means mostly can close tailgate on bikes, which when throwing gravel, means no dents. Practically, if I am doing lots of material hauling i hookup my trailer. So when moving my tractor or getting loads of lumber, etc, didn’t use the bed unless it...

I’ll have to practice more then; I’ve never had luck single feeding any of my conversions. Presume it’s physically possible, just overly technique sensitive during timed engagements. After a few minutes of fumbling when I first got the rifle years back, I just defaulted to “drop mag and rack...

Are you able to reliably single feed? I’ve never been able to work mine as such.

I get ya I’ll work through a bit and see. Truth told, I don’t usually cycle the bolt until ready to fire. Typically I’m not setting up snap shots in dense woods; usually glassing a broad area and working a range card out to 800yds for live game. So haven’t ran through ejection of live rounds...

I gathered as such. Can’t recall hearing my 338 bolt rattle at all, but gathered. Always have muzzle discipline and the like, but it was a “hmm… I don’t like seeing that indentation there”.

Question for the group: Anyone ever see primer indentation on ejected live rounds? Was on my Newfie moose hunt and was ejecting the 338 LM (Hornady precision hunter, stock desert tech conversion) and noted the live round had a tiny mark on the primer. Not a strike, just an minute indent...
