    Maggie’s Socially UNacceptable Humor

I don't see why he should be punished for posting funny pictures. He did not insult anyone and we are far beyond political correctness in this thread.

    Maggie’s Socially UNacceptable Humor

I am going to a place religion calls hell for posting this (but as a non-believer I'll simply rot 6 feet under after serving my time) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_XpojLYBNyc

    Bergara custom rifles any feedback?

LW barrels are also machine honed before button rifling and can be made to customer specs (chamber, twist, material, contour). Bergara only does series production for a limited number of contours.

Gunsmithing To all Enfield No.4 Mk1 owners...

Hey folks, this goes out to all Enfield No.4 Mk1 owners. I need to find the original muzzle diameter for the Mk1 for a project and you guys could help me out here. I measured two barrels and those had different diameters. One was a Longbranch 1945 and the other was a customer supplied...

    Mauser SR 93 300 W

Re: Mauser SR 93 300 W Those items might be rather difficult to find because of the few SR93 ever built. I would not know where you could find those pieces. Anyway, good luck and have fun with this awesome rifle!

    Mauser SR 93 300 W

Re: Mauser SR 93 300 W There was one rifle in .300WinMag ion a German gun auction platform some month ago. Sold for 8600€ with Hensoldt SSG-P scope. I am not quite sure why you even want to mount anything else but a scope on that rifle? It has a bipod, there is the conversion kit...a...

    casio commando smartphone

Re: casio commando smartphone(Olympus TG1 camera) You might take a look at the Motorola Defy, too. It has IP67 standard (not certified, though) and mine works like a charm, is fast and with some knowledge can be upgraded to the current Android version 4.1.1 "JellyBean". Running Shooter on...

    Photos Shot the moon

Re: Shot the moon Yeah, kind of addicting to watch the moon through a scope or spotter. The scope is a S&B 5-25 PMII with P4f reticle @ 25x Wish I could take a pic of what you can really see through the optic (complete reticle and way more detail). But the camera lens with it's own planes...

    Photos Shot the moon

Shot the moon...dope was just a tad off. Not as easy as I imagined to take pictures through a mounted scope without a proper tripod for the rifle and camera. I already took picures though my spotter, but this time I was inspired by a SH member. Any suggestions for those that (regularly) take...

Roedale Muzzle Brakes - EuroOptic copy

Re: Roedale Muzzle Brakes - EuroOptic copy And I thought personal messages were..well personal. Posting PMs for everyone to read is just poor. If you have a personal issue with someone, keep it that way. You say Pete has no honor, I could now say the same about you and I am not even involved...

Roedale Muzzle Brakes - EuroOptic copy

Re: Roedale Muzzle Brakes - EuroOptic copy One thing that makes copying brakes so easy is: anyone with a milling machine can make them. There is no need to make them look "cool" since form follows function. I too would have thought that at least "civilized" countries would respect...

    Maggie’s Angela Merkel

Re: Angela Merkel Good one! Here's another: A group of strange people walk into a downtown bar. An easterner, a homo, a cripple and an asian. The barkeeper asks: "Who the hell are you guys? The easterner lady says: "We are the German government!"

Gunsmithing Lothar Walther UL or Carbon Fibre? Opinions?

Re: Lothar Walther UL or Carbon Fibre? Opinions? LW50 might be more demanding to machine but not impossible, any gunsmith that can't handle quality stainless steel might not have the proper equipment to do the job right. Don't get me wrong, this is by no means an offense, but I read on the...

Lothar Walther Alum UL or ABS Carbon Fiber?

Re: Lothar Walther Alum UL or ABS Carbon Fiber? The Ultralight barrels are LW50 (stainless steel) with aluminium sleeves. Extremely light and compared to the carbon fibre wrapped barrels the bi-metal variant will dissipate heat much faster, especially fluted.
