Rifle Scopes 1300 budget for optic

The SHV and XTRII are some great options to look at. The SHV offers better glass. The XTRII offers some dang decent glass and plenty of features including lots of adjustment. If you are looking for a Horus reticle the XTR also offers that in your budget.

Rifle Scopes I've narrowed it down to three......

All of those scopes are great quality. The NF has a ton of adjustment if you really want to stretch out to distance. The Kahles has a center mounted parallax, convenient for left handed shooters and the option for left sided windage for right handed shooters. For a hunting scope, if weight is a...

The slotted black screw is for the erector spring the other is for the gas. These are not meant to be adjusted by the consumer. Hope this helps.

    Sidearms & Scatterguns 1911 Modifications?

I have used the Wilson buffers. I don't know if they have ever reduced felt recoil. I have discontinued use of them. Tuning springs and handloading may help with recoil. Label your factory springs so you can always go back. A nice pair of rubber grips like Pachmayr may make it more comfortable...

Rifle Scopes Steiner T5xi vs M5xi clarity

My opinion on these scopes. The M5Xi has premium level glass in the same category as the Kahles, PMII, ATACR and Razor Gen II. The T5Xi is similar in comparison to NXS quality glass. Hope this helps.

    Rangefinding Binos help

The Leica and Swarovski are both great rangefinding binoculars. I have to say I have never had any issues with the Swarovski but the rangefinder is much better on the Leica. The rangefinder on the Swarovski starts at 100 ft. and goes to 1500 yds. The Leica starts at 10 yds and goes to 2200. The...

    I need some advice...

I would probably go with the Nightforce 30mm .885 height rings. Item # A118. Really anything from .87' to 1.00" should do very well and look good. Doing this you can keep things consistent. Opens up a lot of options. Let me know if you need any help.

    I need some advice...

If you decide to keep both rifles and budget is an issue. With the right mounts you could move the PST back and forth between both rifles.

Rifle Scopes Glass Comparison S&B vs Kahles vs NF

I find these scopes are all superb as far as optical quality. There are differences that effect personal preference that were talked about in this forum. I would also look at the features the scope has to offer. Kahles has a center mount parallax adjustment that is great for left hand shooters...
