    That would be a perfect mount. It was designed for an AR style rifle. I've used down to a 1.35 on a flat rail. The 1.5 should fit with no problem. Hope this helps.

    I'm playing with one as we speak, and I'd say no. It uses the same 11-setting illumination system as the rest of the AccuPower line, which is not stated as NV compatible. I will reach out to some contacts at Trijicon and get a definitive answer for you though.
