Rifle Scopes Switched from Aimpoint to EOtech thanks to US Optics!

both are great optics, but the aimpoints are more robust and have better battery life. as for field of view, if you run it with both eyes open, you end up with the reticle or dot just floating in your peripheral vision, so field of view is the same if you run it that way. that said, takes all...

Rifle Scopes 2014's Best Scope ShootOut

I preach getting people behind the optic they are interested in all the time. I've had a few get-together deals locally so people could get behind different scopes and really get a feeling. bottom line is your eye has to be comfortable behind the scope, or comfortable with image/light going...

Rifle Scopes 2014's Best Scope ShootOut

seems about right, but the kahles not being ranked higher is strange to me, I when I take it and a 5-25 schmidt outside it seems to be neck and neck.

Rifle Scopes Apparent Weakness Of Aimpoint PRO ???

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xqDP8ve-aBw I like to use this video as an example of aimpoint durability. I was more impressed by the abuse it took that the rifle it self. while we are talking about the pro and not the micro series, as long as it was still functioning, just because the...

Is upgrading to a Swarovski ATX spotting scope really worth $5,000?

just to add to what i said earlier, the kowa is more comparable to the Swarovski ATS or STS spotting scopes. I'd also like to take a moment to illustrate why I always recommend a prospective buyer put eyes behind the optic they want. as we can see in this thread, there are kowa guys, vortex...

Is upgrading to a Swarovski ATX spotting scope really worth $5,000?

having spent some time with the Swarovski, it's an expensive scope but you pay for quality. optically it's better than any other spotter i've gotten behind, and you have the flexability to go from a large scope with a 95mm objective to a much smaller scope with a 65mm objective without having to...

Rifle Scopes Nightforce customer service ?

in the years i've been here and sold nightforce, I've had to send a total of 5 back. we sell thousands of Nightforce scopes. to my knowledge they have only charged for a repair when a guy took a some pliers to the zero stop. As for Nightforce over seas, I sent a member here a 2.5-10x32 for his...

Rifle Scopes Entry level "tactical" optics

I'd recommend the vortex, I've been using the PST for years, in both the 4-16 and the 6-24, they are great optics to start with, lots of bang for your buck and they work. another option is the new Burris XTR II scopes, they haven't been around as long, but I've gotten good reports so far.
