How useful are the Sig Kilo 3000s...

I ranged elk at 1500 yards on a far hillside. I did have it use a rest to get still enough. It worked quite well.

Rifle Scopes Swfa are they out of the game?

The last few times they have had a sale, i have been wanting to get a fixed 6. I have a fixed 10 that just doesn't get used because the hunting rifle that i want it on is just better suited to a 6. Really don't want them out of the scope business.

Rifle Scopes Steiner T5XI value & popularity

My brother has a couple of them, they used to be for his match rifles, and one is still on his backup. He really likes them, but told me that when they first came out they had issues and that he would not buy a used one, but would recommend buying new all day. But no personal experience, just...

Rifle Scopes Mid range optic at a mid range price

I have the P4Xi and 5-25 and 4-20 XTR2's, and i just saw the 5-25 XTR2 at DVOR for $609 in the pyrim sand color. The 4-20 might be a little better optically than the 5-25, but not enough that i would pay that much extra for it.

Rifle Scopes Looking for advice - FFP v SFP... what are you using for what..?

I got one of the black Friday deals on that Ares BTR 2.5-15 and it was a hell of a lot of scope for the money i paid. I have it on a savage model 11 300 wsm and it is just great for that. other than a better zero stop, i think it is just solid.

Rifle Scopes Looking for advice - FFP v SFP... what are you using for what..?

I wouldn't put too much emphasis on using something that is not designed for something just to have everything uniform across your rifles. Personally i think either a FFP or SFP does fine for hunting. I don't compete, so i will let the others talk about what would be best there. I have a Zeiss...

Rifle Scopes Burris XTR iii, how are they doing?

I am not too wild about the Veracity. I have 2 of the 4-20's that i ordered at the same time, one with the varmint e1 ffp and one with the regular e1 ffp reticle. As far as the reticles go, i really like the regular, and i can live with the varmint, but neither has the crosshairs optically...

Rifle Scopes 6.5 Grendel Hunting/SPRish Optic

I know it is too late, just figured i would say that the P4XI is a FFP.

Rifle Scopes NF 2.5-10X42 any other options?

My Zeiss Conquest V4 has a zero stop.

    Rifle Scopes 10x riflescope poll...

There is no way I am buying a fixed riflescope over $500. It would be nice to have a couple more options than what my SWFA has, but regardless there is no way I am buying a fixed 10x or 6x (possible next purchase) over $500, much less $1000

Rifle Scopes Steiner P4Xi 4-16 x 56 on Bighorn Origin - Scope Mount

I will have to look later, but I have a set of low rings (I think) on my TL3 with the P4XI. With that big of tube and a rail, it doesn't take a very high set of rings to be high enough.

    Rifle Scopes Moa for mounting?

with 90 total, you have 45 moa from the middle, and with a 20 MOA rail that gives you 65 moa of available travel. That isn't bad as it is, so a set of regular rings would do you fine. If you want to go a little bit more, the signature rings are just fine. I wouldn't go a whole lot more, I don't...

    Rifle Scopes Burris XTR II

I have a couple 3-15 G2B's, a 4-20 SCR and a 5-25 SCR. I also have a Steiner P4XI 4-16. The Steiner P4XI is my favorite of the bunch with the best glass clarity, but a little CA. One of the 3-15 XTR2's has spectacular glass, and the other is poor, but not bad enough to warrant sending it back...

    Rifle Scopes 1 mile scope

Just an FYI since you asked about them, I got a Steiner P4xi 4-15x56 and while the glass is pretty good to my untrained eyes, it has only 2 revolutions of the turret (20 MILS) from where you set your zero stop. I am sure you can go a long ways with 20 MILS of elevation, but I have never checked...

    Go Savage then Evolve

It was a nice read. I started off with brownings, rifles, shotguns and pistol. I got my first Savage in the 1990's and it was nice, but it wasn't a mind blowing experience. After that I got a Remington, and more Brownings. I had my brother urge me to give Savage another try, and I am glad I did...

    Rifle Scopes 1 mile scope

My brother uses an XTR2 3-15 for mile shots. It has a lot of elevation.

Rifle Scopes Long range optics that can moonlight as a deer hunting optic

I got a Steiner P4Xi 4-16 for that exact purpose... It might be a little heavy for what you want, but I really like my Burris Veracity 4-20. The Veracity is more of a hunting scope that can go long range. I haven't yet dialed more than 1 MIL for a 300 yard target, so I really can't comment on...
