Rifle Scopes Looking for Scope Suggestions for $500 +/-

18x is plenty to shoot to 1000 yards. My very first time out to 1000 was last year, and I used my 3-15 XTR2 and was never thinking I needed more, I went 7 out of my last 10 shots on a 12" plate. My brother-in-law had a 12x SWFA SS and went 5 out of 10 on that 12" plate.

Rifle Scopes “Do All” Riflescope (Hunting/Tactical/PRS)

I don't have a lot of experience with other scopes, but I used to have my first Burris XTR2 G2B 3-15 on my target rifle and I really liked it for the range when it was the best scope I had. I need to lighten the trigger a little, but not too bad. I like the action a lot, but I really can tell...

    Rifle Scopes Solid hunting scope

I have a Burris XTR2 3-15 G2B on two of my hunting rifles. It really is everything I could ask for in a low light hunting rifle scope. The only problem is that it is not light weight at 30 ounces. It also has enough elevation, that it is a legitimate 1 mile scope with a 20 MOA rail. It is what...

Rifle Scopes Scope Snob in remission

I have a little input on the XTR2 glass. I got my first one (3-15 g2b) last year in late winter. The glass was fantastic, very close to my brother's Steiner in glass quality. I liked it so much that I picked up another identical scope from a dealer that had apparently had it on the shelf a very...
