    A friend has an old Calico 9mm PCC with a 50 and a 100 round magazine - you have to crank up the spring tension every 20 or so rounds when shooting.

    I personally have had good luck building my own. Take your time. use good parts but as others (LRRPF52) have well stated, there are still things that can go wrong. For a commercial gun or upper I like LMT. My LMT .308s (Chrome and Stainless DI) are accurate and run like a champ and the LMT...

    I have 2 friends who have had artificial disk replacements in their neck. They both came through it well and recovery time was quicker that what is required for a fusion (as I understand) Good luck!

    3D Printed AR Lowers

    I made a few lowers on a gen 1 ghost gunner mill. The safety wasn't always aligned perfectly but they all run great (and are safe.) I've built a AR .22 on a polymer lower with CMMG upper, very lite weight. I use it for my niece and nephew but I'm not sure I would want to run .223 on it...

    Cargo Pants recommendations please

    Kitanica Raider Pants (https://www.kitanica.net/default.asp) I've worn them for years as my preferred cargo pants and they hold up much longer than any of the 5.11's I've owned. They are a little spendy but made in the USA (well California anyway :p) Also nice but a bit spendy - Arc'teryx...
