    Howa 1500 hcr owners.....

    I put a Bravo stock on mine. The reason I did so was to be able to use aics mags. I wish I had done a bit more research before I bought it.

    I have shot Eley brown box, black box, CCI SV, RWS R50 and some bulk CMP ammo, and it has all shot great @ 50. I haven't had a chance to see what they will do @100, but I do know that the 2 and 300 yd steel plates are having to be repainted quite often.

    That is very good shooting. Nothing hard to believe here. When I was shooting HP silhouette, we used to sight our rifles in a 500 meters shooting at small rocks. We were shooting either prone or off a bench. Again, great shooting Doc. Daryl (cwmoss)

    From what I see, you are not using a ruger base. Get that first. I have a couple laying around in case you don't have one. PM me if you need one. Then see what it does, if it still low, shim it. I use aluminum beer cans, soda cans will do also. cwmoss
