    I've had mine sitting in an ADM scout mount for some time now. I went with the one that has 20moa built in. It has worked great as have all of my other ADM products. I would highly recommend it for your 1-8.

    Trust me... It definitely improves the functioning of the rifle and it is not "gamer shit"... far far from it. John has put a ton if work into improving the AR in many ways. He has made some of the greatest advancements in ARs and these are two of them.

    Shoot it and when it is shot out... replace it. If your this worried about barrel life and heat effects, you are in the wrong hobby or at a minimum you need to change calibers to something that has the velocity of the speed of smell.

    Personally I dont think there is much reason to shorten the barrel, especially one that will be hosting a ACOG. Go with JP, you will be happy you did. I have multiple and love them all.

    Problem with LWRC PSD upper 556

    Is there a mark or small hole on the rear portion of the buffer? Every once in a while a screw or something in the rear of the tube will stick too far into the buffer tube and catch the nonmetal material on the rear of the buffer. Not sure which stock you are running but worth checking.
