    I use 5 dies to shorten and neck down my brass. Thanks for the advice and offering to help. I used Jamison brass for the first 50 rounds with no issues. Bought 100 pieces of the new Bertram brass tried everything I could possibly think of before I gave up.

    I have a 7-300norma improved. I can launch a 180 Berger at 3500fps. Great cartridge. Shot lots of 10 inch 5 shots groups at a mile. Shot an elk last year at 1380 yards. I would suggest a 30 inch barrel with this case. 42 MOA to a mile.
