    .300 Blackout in a bolt action - why?

    This is America...better question is why not? Perhaps your state allows hunting with semi, but here in PA we cannot hunt with semi. I have a 300 BO bolt action to hunt in my state because my rifle is light and compact and I can use my suppressor.

    Very nice. I shot there three summers ago. The club should warn you that you will need a 4x4 to reach the targets. I didn't know about the rock at a mile...that is good to know.

    Flute Savage Barrel, or Not?

    Why do that on a factory barrel? They dont' weigh that much to begin with and are not expensive to begin with....now if you had a varmint contour from say Pac Nor, CDI, McGowen, Shilen, Benchmark...then it might be worth your effort.

    I went with XLR...they were the only company that offered the chassis for my TRG 42 when I was looking last year. McRee jerked me around and I'm so glad I went with XLR...Kyle is very easy to reach and he will answer any questions you may have in regards to their XLR chassis.

    I used to work for SL in the repair department. SL sucks in terms of QC. Only reason why I have SL is because I used to get such great discounts on the products. If I had to pay regular prices, I would have gone with Olight.
