    Issue with Redding FL match die

    He said he set die flush with shell holder and backed it off 1/4 turn. Redding instruction calls for flush then screw "IN" 1/8 to 1/4 turn to create cam over. He is not sizing the case

    Anyone anneal with a Fluxeon Annie

    I anneal 6.5 Creedmoor and 223. My question do you adjust how deep into the coil the brass sets relative to the top of the brass.

    Expander mandrel is removing size die shoulder bump?

    Shoulder bump measurement before and after mandrel step is being measured with LE Wilson case gauge and a LE Wilson micrometer head space gauge.

    Loading 223 for trainer rifle. I am bumping Lapua brass .002 with a Redding "S" type FL sizing die and Redding compition shell holders. However after measuring the .002" bump I run an expander mandrel and remeasure 000" shoulder bump. I am. Lub bing inside the neck. Anybody else see this

    You'll need something like accurate mag 223. Outer steel shell like your 308 but with a plastic liner to accept 223 ammo

    Make sure the unit is level front to back, if the tube is running up hill the kernels have a harder time feeding toward the end of the tube.

    Decap and resize on Rock chucker in two different steps, tumbling and annealing in between. Drop powder via FX120i with auto throw, seat bullet with LE Wilson hand die on arbor press.

    Affordable tripod?

    I just ordered the PIG0311 tripod from HOG Saddle. Looks like a lot of value for $138. Plan on attaching weapon to tripod via Arca Swiss. Still studying as to ball mount to use. Recommendations welcomed.
