    After using Annie for a few weeks, as the instructions say the unit will warm up after about 8 cycles and increase about .8% in output. My initial setups did not take this into account, I now keep 10 old cases to cycle thru and take into account the increase after warm up

    Still getting some inconsistency in groups but SD and ES are improved so I'm chalking it up to shooter pulling the flyers. Additionally the necks are thicker so the bushing changed.

    With Hornady brass and 42.3g H4350 I had a MV of 2750, with Lapua brass I have 2780 with 42.0g H4350

    The onboard breaker is only 10amp, I can't see a need for 220. With the water cooled coil the duty cycle is practically 100%

    Annie Annealer- What else do I need?

    The guy that helped me set mine up "this week" had liquid so that's what we used. I'm annealing 6.5 Creedmoor , Hornady was 1.8 sec and Lapua was 2.4 sec. Mine has the water coiled coil. I'm fab'd a trap door setup to drop the cases into and they fall out the bottom.

    750 strip from case mouth to 1/2 way down the case, 450 strip from shoulder to case head. Sneak up to the heat setting that just turns the 750 to a point just below the shoulder. 450 should not turn much past the point where the 750 stops turning. What brand and caliber case

    My previous 6.5 creed. With Hornady brass Load was 42.3g H4350, 142g SMK, win large rifle primer and getting 2750fps new load with Lapua is 42.1g H4350, 142g SMK, CCI BR4 small rifle primer and still 2750fps

    just started case annealing, my Hornady cases had 10 or 12 loadings. My muzzle V had been running in the 2750 neighborhood consistently. First check after annealing was avg. 2780, is this common / normal? Nothing else was changed other than same brass was annealed.

    What size bushing for Hornady 6.5cm brass?

    Sorry about that, my loaded hornady brass measures .291", depending on what neck tension you want. I have been using .003 with a .288 bushing on Hornady brass.

    Saw video where Redding is "now" recommending .001 neck tension. I'm getting .014 neck thickness on Lapua brass. (.014 *2) + .264 = .292 so .291 bushing. I've been using more neck tension than this so I'm waiting for .291 and .290 bushing to get here.

    Brass prep? Drill press vs station?

    I use the bench top drill press with the " worlds finest trimmer for 6.5Creedmoor, 308 win., 300BO" and chamfering. When not working on brass I have a drill press.
