    FN SPRs at Tactical Coordination

    I bought a FN spr1 from tactical coordination and it was a fantastic accurate gun especially for the price. I sold it to a family member and he loves it too.

    Handguards- M-Lok vs Key Mod?

    I’ve used both but prefer Mlok now. It does hold stronger and looks better than Key Mod. I had a Key Mod handguard on my AR 10 with a small pic rail for my bipod and it was always coming loose but I switched to Mlok and never had an issue.

    What caliber to build new rifle?

    If you go short action I say any of the 6.5s would do you well but if you go long action I suggest 280 AI or 284 Winchester. You could do a 284 in short action but to take advantage of the heavier higher ballistic bullets then a long action is better.

    I’ve used Primary Arms 4-14x44 ffp and right have the Athlon Talos BTR on one of my ARs and I think both are good for the money. Both were reliable and did everything I wanted for fun and hunting. SWFA would be one to consider too.

    The Revic would be really nice but if you wanted to save some money on your budget look at the Athlon Cronus BTR. It checks all of your boxes and is a pretty awesome scope for the money.

    XLR Element vs Envy

    I have the XLR Envy and love it. I don’t have any experience with the Element but I’m sure either way you’ll be happy. When I shoot I keep my thumb on the same side as my grip so I haven’t tested to see how much room is on top of the bubble level.

    6.5 Creedmoor at Walmart!

    I agree that bulk is always going to be cheaper but just thought it was nice to see some 6.5 Creedmoor options in a big box store like Walmart. Those prices are comparable around here with Sportsmans and Cabelas per box.

    I don’t know if anywhere else they can find 6.5 cm at Walmart but I’ve seen at 3 different Walmart’s here in the Salt Lake Valley.
