    IMHO you are limiting your self. The scout Rifle has the ability to go out as far as 800 yds. If you go by the idea of 1 power for every 100 yds then, yes, you are limiting your self.     Re: OPINIONS ON SADICK TITANIUM SCOPE MOUNT (M14) Outstanding mount. I have one and it is lite compared to there steel mount (I have two of those) holds tight. sits on a Bush length rifle had a Leupold MK4 on top no shifting of zero due to recoil. You will not be disappointed.
