    Did it really shoot that much different than any other mid-length gas 16" cobbed together AR? I watch reviews on Youtube, and dudes are creaming on them "OOhh the recoil is so soft..." this and that. Or am I gonna have to do like you buy one to experience the hype lol.

    When you say JP recoil spring, are you specifically referring to their recoil spring and H2 or the silent capture system.     The Mod 1 has a forward assist the mod 2 doesn't have. But the mod 2 looks like it has a a better rail/upper interface that could be potentially stiffer.
