    Scope base bedding, again: Still trying to get this Savage scoped. With the front screwed down, the new base is sitting .009 (by feeler gauge) above the top of the receiver at the rear. Is this still an acceptable distance to bed to level it out?

    Finally got a proper shooting vehicle :)
