    Crazy M91/30 Shooting

After almost 125 years (1891), that cartridge still delivers.

    Dawg 1- Cop 0

Same here. I've never been bitten by a large dog, only little ones. I think that is because large breeds telegraph their mood and intentions very well. Little dogs are unpredictable, neurotic psychos.

Where in TN did you go? We've been looking for something local.

Military snipers and the 300 Win Magnum (Bullet weight?)

As Flight pointed out, the Geneva Convention had nothing to do with bullets. The Hague Convention, however, prohibited the use of "dum dum" bullets. (From my recent Law Of Land Warfare course.)

Hunting & Fishing 2018 South Africa hunting trip

My neighbor went a few years back and encountered MAJOR difficulties getting the animals back. The buffalo skull came through fine, but he had the totally wrong wildebeest and wrong some type of small antelope. Another antelope just never showed up. All due to the shipping company. To this...

Remington 700 Recall on X-Mark Pro Triggers

I'll just wait until Remington opens there new facility in Huntsville in a few years, and walk in. Should about match the time it would take to get my rifle back if I sent it to them this week.

    Your take on gun insurance

This is who I use. (I don't have a lot in the way of modern weapons, mostly US and Soviet Cold War collectible, which can add up quickly.) Bite the bullet and write one check a year. Worth it for the piece of mind.

    Skin cell gun

That was interesting. I wonder how the get the stem cells for spraying. They said they are harvested from the patients own skin. Usually skin grafts are sliced off, or cadaver skin is used.

    50 Cal? INSANE?

I have exactly one round of Russian 14.5. It dwarfs the Russian 12.7!! Unfortunately, I'll never have the weapon to fire the 14.5

    So how'd I do. M1903 at 100 yards

Those rifles used to rule Camp Perry for many, many years. Amazing what an almost 100 year old rifle can still do.

Hunting & Fishing 2018 South Africa hunting trip

I just saw a show with Jim Shockey on it last night and he talked about how Africa is more affordable than many North American hunts. Got me thinking...I'm bookmarking this for reference when I finally decide to go.

    I like this idea.

    What would you do?

Bluto, one thing is causing a question for me-Where does this guy want his scope sent? A lot of times in our ITAR investigations, the buyer tries to put a lot of pressure on the company to ship quickly. Slim, slim chance on this one, but something to be aware of.

    What would you do?

That's goo info, I had no idea. I watched the video below where WU says you can get cash from their outlets, but apparently this is not the same all over. USPS money order may be a pain to get at some post offices (long, long lines), but is pretty much iron clad.

Movie Theater Walking Dead - Season 4

Andrew Lincoln (Rick) was on the Talking Dead last night and talked quite a bit about how Rick had changed throughout the series. He had major turning points when Carl was shot, they found Sophia, when Laurie died and when Herschel was killed. Now, with the attack on Carl, Rick is in full...
