    Just shot today at 9am, colorado OTC opening day of 2nd rifle. 6.5 creed did it at 50 yards My first successful elk hunt!

    I probably will. I'm on the fence with how I view hornady as a company and I probably can't shoot the difference in a match setting. Maybe I'll buy a box and split it up here on the PX. I'm mentally preparing to get roasted 🤣

    If Lapua decided to drop the 6.5CM I'd switch to the 6.5x47 after this barrel. That's a huge investment in tooling to drop but I guess it depends how salty they are. The same high volume shooters that hornady is chasing happens to be the lapua customer base.

    I think the MR4 reticle is still king. Clean, simple, uniform and it still gives .2 mil increments. I'm guessing the floating cross on the FML-TR1 is broken up in .2s?

    I'm sure hornadys legal team has patent stuff sorted out. I'd just like to see some effort in not ripping off a little guy. The Henderson is a great design, I can see why they copied it.

    I'm guessing someone will pop up selling 50ct bags so we can try these without buying 500. I'm fine with the competition, at least with the bullets they aren't "punching down" like they did with the Henderson.

    That thing looks great. I'm building nearly the exact same rifle. Not sure on barrel yet though. I've got the MRP 13.25 and the NF 4-16 should be in on Tuesday. What do you think of the MRP for this role? I figured it should eliminate any POI shift from bipod/tripod/barricades.

    We're all hard on our stuff. That's not what I mean. I can tell you about the durability of all the scopes I own. But that's not the info I'm after.

    Yeah. That's really where I'm at, either accept that it's probably the best scope for $2500 and use it for what it is or just get a ZCO420. Although, at the $2500 price point you'd think you'd atleast get a modern scope. I'll have to revisit the ZP5 3-15. I'm really not sure how to compare...

    Thought about it. I like the bomb proof aspect of the ATACR and would like it for SPR and hunting use.
