    Rifle Scopes Leupold Mark 4HD

Yes, hunting dark timber FOV is king and I'd rather the 4x on the low end.

    Rifle Scopes Leupold Mark 4HD

It's probably just an early morning poorly formed thought. But at first glance, they are very similar scopes with very similar spec sheets. I think that the mk4 will give a lot of people pause before they spend the extra on a Mk5. With that said, the 4.5-18 doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

    Rifle Scopes Leupold Mark 4HD

Yeah, I guess it seems like they are covering the same space but with the Mk4 in kinda an odd spot for practical use. I get the whole 4x and 5x mag ratio but a 5-20 mk4 or a 4-16 mk4 would make more sense to me. If I'm shopping for a "cross over" scope, I'm willing to compromise on one end or...

    Rifle Scopes Leupold Mark 4HD

The numbers between the mk5 3.6-18 and the mk4HD 4.5-18 are kinda odd. Looks to me like the Mk5 is 2.5" shorter and has a better mag range. I circled some of the things that matter to me. You'd think some of these numbers would be swapped and that the Mk5 3.6-18 would be a lot cheaper than it...

    Hornady 7mm .284 166gr A Tip BC's

That doesn't really speak to consistentcy, but I've ran the 162's without issues in the 1600-1700 yard range..

Coup De Grâce, New Action from American Rifle Company, $899 WOW!

Forward of the trigger there's a screw. I edited my post to add a link on how to fix it.. not too bad and should even give me some practice on the mill. It looks like your tang has similar marks, the rest of my action is covered in machining marks. it's not going to ruffle my feathers but I...

Coup De Grâce, New Action from American Rifle Company, $899 WOW!

I've got good news and bad news. The action looks great in the W3! The actions doesn't fit the W3 lol. I'll have to do some digging to find what others have done but if I have to change chassis it won't be the end of the world. Functionally the action seems awesome. I don't love the...

Coup De Grâce, New Action from American Rifle Company, $899 WOW!

Oh yeah, I love it. Just pointing out how the new model could be called "lightweight" even though it's par for the course with other standard offerings.

I think it has more to do with the weight of the Target version being so ridiculous.

V4 vs supertrickler vs ingenuity trickler

Dude, you might need to cool off... I haven't looked at the thread at all, a friend asked me to post, so I did. Shame on me... Thank you for acknowledging my title...

V4 vs supertrickler vs ingenuity trickler

Yeah sure. If you have a Super trickler and are burnt out, give the V3.0 a try. It's a real game changer. I think there's a good chance that V2.50 will leave a lasting impression on consumers but V3.0 makes the ST competitive again. The main issue with V2.50 was that the tinkering was...

Coup De Grâce, New Action from American Rifle Company, $899 WOW!

It looks like Harvey Dent. I'm glad someone is willing to at least try to break the mold. But I'd take the 6-8oz. ETA: The LA Origin comes in at 1.9lbs (31oz), the OG LA CDG comes in at 2.4lbs (38.4oz) , the Lighweight LA CDG 1.875lbs (30oz). Explains my surprise when I picked up my action...

I was looking at post #6,330 and his action had the laser foam and all. Mine was in a large box with butchers paper wrapped around it lol.

Coup De Grâce, New Action from American Rifle Company, $899 WOW!

The shop it town finally opened after new years so went to pick up my action, little did I know that Colorado has a stupid (unconstitutional) "cool down" period that only served to fire me up... odd how that works. Anyway I got to screw with the action a little but will pick it up on Sunday...
