    .224 Valkyrie

Slightly off topic but with the 62gr VT having what essentially a 88gr ELDM jacket. Is hornady offering two 22 ARC reamers? like a small frame reamer and a bolt gun reamer? My Valk has the .115" FB so I'm pretty excited to try the new 62gr. But like you, I've got a lot of irons in the fire...

Has anyone had a chance to play with the Hornady 62gr ELD VT?

What do you consider the "range" of a particular cartridge?

I provided an answer as vague as the original question while you go on about shooting people in a "society collapse" and I'm the one with stupid posts? OK bud. Keep dreaming...

What do you consider the "range" of a particular cartridge?

Sometimes people use extremes to make a point.

What do you consider the "range" of a particular cartridge?

What about 22lr? What about 45-70?

What do you consider the "range" of a particular cartridge?

Where ever a given caliber can no longer accomplish its intended use. There's not really a single metric that determines this. How ever you slice it, you're always cutting out a lot of cartridges. Has anyone ever applied WEZ to something like the NF ELR course of fire? I think that would be...

Keep us posted. Looks like notching it would work just fine but not fun to do on a new action. Curious how mine will sit in a KRG w3.

They told me they have a lapua action coming. I have a hard time imagining a price drop.

Coup De Grâce, New Action from American Rifle Company, $899 WOW!

Actually, my Origin is great. Like others have said, it paved the way and set the bar for budget actions. I see no need to dog on it. There's a reason I ordered the CDG, sounds like it's going to be awesome. If the advantages are significant then it'll stand on its own. The CDG doesn't turn my...

Coup De Grâce, New Action from American Rifle Company, $899 WOW!

Still can't figure out how this became an issue. Integral everything is fine and dandy but I've yet to see a pinned rail or lug cause any problems. It's like framing a house with deck screws cause they're "better". The point is, the Origin is fine. Find a bigger issue to be salty about...

Where are all the origins showing signs of compromised integrity? It's not like that hole is as deep as the tennon. Integrated recoil lugs are cool but they dont make or break an action IMO.

Thanks for standing up for us millennials Stan. As for the Origin vs CDG I think a lot of these talking points are not as critical as we'd like to imagine. I've got an early 2xx Origin that unintentionally had the ability to control cock on close and firing pin fall. Though, If you find...
