    Because after you apply the dope to the sight, you then crank on the gun to level the bubbles on the sight, while aligned on an aiming stake. Turns out we didn't need bubbles, our ear holes would have told us when the sight was re-leveled from the cranking on the gun.

    I was an 0861, but had a secondary MOS as an 0341 (mortarman). We used two level vials on the 60mm and 81mm mortar sights. Who knew we could have just eyeballed it, and let our ear hole do the rest.

    Dayton, OH...another shooting?!

    Looks like this used an AR-15 pistol. News reporting as a rifle, but look closely at the pic. That's a 10.5" with a pistol brace, and looks like a 100 round double drum magazine. Wait until the left works out that this is an AR pistol, more helmet fires, and urgency to ban them. .

    Range Report Rem 700 sps varmint 243 win. Weird groups...

    You might just need to lap your bore a bit. I bought a fire lapping kit from Midway, and like to send about 20 rounds with the fine grit (600), then clean. Seems to help in my cases, both SPS Varmint 308s. After the firelapping They shoot consistent sub-moa.
