    Atlas or Harris bipod?

never seen that….interesting enough. My Atlas has been in 2 matches. I can buy 3 Harris' for the money. Some people like the atlas. Some don't. I tried.

    Atlas or Harris bipod?

I just broke my second Atlas. Snapped the pivot bolt right off. Let me get repair parts and get it fixed and I will make you a deal so I can buy 2 more Harris'. Glad it happened at my kitchen table rather than a match.

I personally use anti-seize on my cross bolts. What I do with my personal guns has nothing to do with what DTA recommends. We all have our personal preferences, but I have never had what you're talking about happen to me. Russ

New GAP Extreme Hunter in 6.5 SAUM

Hey George, why you like the 139 over the 136? Just wondering. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Idea! Official DTA SRS, HTI, Covert, Hunter Thread I'm pretty sure that the mini FTE only comes in the smaller thread pitches, not the 3/4x24 that DTA uses on everything. If you have an aftermarket barrel or have your threads reduced, then yes there is enough if the barrel sticking out to use...

Idea! Official DTA SRS, HTI, Covert, Hunter Thread They never lock... Are you saying that once you torque it, when you try to loosen your cross bolts, it just pops and won't loosen? Russ

New GAP Extreme Hunter in 6.5 SAUM

Hey George. What did you guys find lacking in the 136? I have shot around 1300 in my creedmoors with great success. I have a bunch of Berger 130s set aside for my 6.5 SAUM, but would appreciate any input you have on the 136. Russ @ DTM. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Well damn, it made sense to me when I typed it. I didn't mean new stock as in the rifle. I meant new stock like inventory. My bad. I was just meaning that we are catching up and will have more things on hand. Barrels, ammo, gear. I'm hoping to be adding a couple new nylon accessories to...

I honestly don't know if the 260 covert is on the docket man. I can almost guarantee that the 300 Norma is not. It really doesn't make sense to sink the money into it when the 300 Norma is far from the top of the popularity list. I will say, if DTA doesn't offer what you are looking for...

Just a slight correction on Ty's post…… DTA does stock 6.5 Creedmoor barrels now. We got a bunch in, they may have already been sold. This is on top of the bunch that were custom ordered. They are a regular barrel option now. Watch for updates on new stock soon. Lots of big changes...

Ty is right, one reason we used the 8" twist on the 308 is for stabilizing the 210-230 grain pills for the guys into that. That said, some of the best groups we have shot in testing ammo is with the 16" 308. I have a bunch of rifles that I test our ammo in, including a barrel that Ty made my...

Realistic Expectations when ordering a custom gun

Weird that just about everyone, BUT you seems to be on the same page here. I still say you should have done your homework before the order. These weapon systems are not that complicated. There are not that many decisions that need to go into planning one.

Realistic Expectations when ordering a custom gun

The fact that you feel you are so much more important than the rest of the people out there. You need to get off your high horse and let everyone do their work man. I have 3 guns in mid build with 2 different builders. I did my homework before hand so I knew exactly what I wanted from the...

No, I have a great relationship with countless customers, both on the Ammo side and the Rifle side of our company. The sense of entitlement that you seem to have is humorous at best.
