    At my wits end... need some help from my Fellow 'Hiders. Chicken Fried Steak!

    Have any of you soaked the cube steaks in milk, or marinated the steaks prior to the flour/buttermilk/egg process? The reason I ask is the best fried chicken I’ve ever had is done this way. 😋 I’ve never tried it because when I make chicken fried steak, I’m hungry now. Not in 2 days… 🤠

    It’s a very lean and textured meat. It’s better ground up in spaghetti sauce and that style of foods in my experience.

    Shhhh……. @powdahound76 You’re ruining my entertainment. 😁 I’ve hunted elk for many years in Colorado. For the longest time, we hunted 6-10 miles from the truck depending which area we hunted. We never had the luxury of carrying anything we absolutely wouldn’t need in the back country...

    I did not buy the upgraded pump. Yo add the pump at a later date was the same price as the upgrade, so I didn’t see the need at the “start up” point.
