    I have a satern cut rifle barrel at 24 inches. It shoots very very well. 123gr vmax at mag length. Id buy another, but id also just get a custom barrel like a bartlein spun up as well.

    Seat Depth during Break-in barrel

    Dont matter. Just make up some safe loads and shoot it. With my rifles ive noticed that its a waste trying to develop a load until i have a good copper foul laid in the barrel. Ive never been able to get a load right away that was good from then on... just go shoot it..

    Ive seen little issues for years like that with most bullets... thats what lead me to sorting bullets regardless of manufacturer... i still shoot moatly bergera... but i sort them. They are usually .1+- in weight and length varies a tad too... i trim them sometimes with a meplat trimmer...

    Dont make the hole bigger... thats a big part of why the 47 shoots so good. Its made small primer pocket for a reason.

    temp sensitivity powder question?

    Well ive yeated a few powders for temp sensitivity and rl15 and h4350. My conclusion is no powder is totally temp sensitve.. they all very a bit... these two both sit in the 1fps per degree catagory for me... thats what i have to adjust for with my turrets... thats what my chrony and data...

    Ive never had a problem... i reload thousands of them.... i use 40 cal brass and run it through a rcbs 357sig die... then load with 9mm bullets... i run a glock 32... not once have i had this happen to me.... your doing something wrong... ive used speer, hornady, remington bullets... amd...

    Looks like between 44 and 45 to me. Do .2 incriments now. If you can ladder test further than 200 it makes it all more clearer to see... just look at vertical spread... not horizontal...

    How do you know your at the end of your barrel life.

    ^^^^^ when you first get a new barrel and work up a load you will find your seating depth... as your shoot and wear out the throat your seating depth with become longer and longer to keep the bullet seated right in the lands... once its been shot out you will find you have to seat the bullet...
