Ultimate 4x4 Range Vehicle Under $10k

Re: Ultimate 4x4 Range Vehicle Under $10k Ford is my first choice, but would consider others. I have been looking at Excursions with V-10's also. I am sure they are gas hogs but I don't plan on driving it daily so that is not a huge concern. Seems like I can get more for my money in the used...

Update: AccuTrigger -Firing pin is following.

Re: Savage 10 AccuTrig. -Firing pin is following. Thanks guys, I will give it another chance to fail me and if it does I will replace it with a SSS trigger group. I have been shooting 210's & 220's out of hit, recoils a little much but I enjoy the knock down power of the heavy bullets. Thanks...

Update: AccuTrigger -Firing pin is following.

Re: Savage 10 AccuTrig. -Firing pin is following. Update: Dissassembled rifle tonight, found two contribuiting factors to the failer. First thing was that the compression spring directly below the safety was not in it's intended keeper. This is what made the trigger pull too heavy (5 lbs)...

How much would you pay for one of these???

Re: How much would you pay for one of these??? I have a swaro now, I do like it but would rather have a weapon mounted lrf. It has the power to reach out but the stability of a rifle platform would make it worth more. I find myself resting my swaro on top of my scope to range smaller...

Update: AccuTrigger -Firing pin is following.

Re: Savage 10 AccuTrig. -Firing pin is following. Thanks for the info bodyworks, will likely replace it. The trigger really is 5 lbs, I thought it was heavy from the factory intentionally. I bought this to hunt with so I wasn't real concerned with the weight of it. Are those triggers you are...

Update: AccuTrigger -Firing pin is following.

Savage precision carbine - Firing pin is following when cycling the bolt. Seems pretty dangerous, leaves a small ding in the primer. I bought new, has about 250 rounds through it. Will take it apart and try to fix it, but did not know if this is something I should send back to Savage to have...

    Range Report 308 Win, 208 AMax, RL17

Re: 308 Win, 208 AMax, RL17 I use cheap white paint from walmart, $1 a can. I was using rustoleum at $4 a can, but was having the same problem.. The cheaper paint seems to work best for targets, however it does not cover as well. Still want to make it up to KC to shoot with you one of these...

    Range Report 308 Win, 208 AMax, RL17

Re: 308 Win, 208 AMax, RL17 Has anyone tried to load the heavy 308's with the IMR 8208. I finally got a bunch of powder for my 155's but now I am on a kick to try heavier bullets. Picked up some 175, 180, 190, and 210s from JLK. Nice looking bullets and price was really good too.. Thanks
