    Re: Short is Smart - SHR Test Build 18" 260 I love the idea of a short barrel .260 and will have a 20"er by the end of the month. I do, however, believe that a loss of 10fps per inch of barrel is a little optimistic for every barrel. Most will probably be around 15-20fps per inch.

    I'm fireforming some loads for a new ackley improved. The rounds are loaded very short, and the throat is very long. Jump will be at least 0.1". Is there a greater risk of damaging the lands from a bigger jump? I could care less about accuracy from these loads and doubt that I'll even set...

    Re: Todays Rifles are to Heavy and Bulky I agree; 99% of the guns on this website are too heavy. The stock and the barrel are were most of the weight can be saved. Give me a McMillian edge HTG w/ a 20" light palma barrel chambered in anything other than .308.
