    Maybe they are finally retiring the "bottom bolt release" - it was a pita. I suspect they will have something equivalent or better coming along.

    Find places online that allow back-ordering and has reasonable prices. Back order everything you ever wanted (and can afford) then wait patiently. It actually shows up eventually and then you are all stocked up with out the stress and hassles.

    Looks like a pit-ador. I wish mine wasn't so gun-shy. I can't break him of it - or I'm just too lazy to spend the time it is going to take to do it. I miss my old Lab/Weim he was a great hunting partner. Got excited just seeing a gun.

    Long term storage in safe, what do you put in the bore.

    I use Frog Lube - the thick paste stuff. Of course, I've only been using it for a year. Before that I used RIGG (sp?) but I finally ran out and I don't think they make it anymore or it's different now. I don't think Frog Lube is going anywhere from gravity unless my safe gets really hot.

    I wonder if the rings are out of spec or not mounted right. Try swapping them around and see if your zero drops.

    It's probably me but I just shot 20 test rounds of sub-sonic .308 loaded as follows: Winchester Brass 175 SMK Fed 210 Primer Trail Boss My groups were good ~.5-1" at 50 yards with no tumblers but the speeds through my Chrony F1 were all over the place: Grains | Speeds 10.2 | 1059 | 847 |...
