    Mini scout light

In my experience Modlite heads have a smaller hot spot but give a wider halo around it. I prefer the Modlight head to the surefire. Don't forget the Cloud Defense. I like the CD because they are duel fuel and will accept both protected and unprotected cells in 18650 as well as CR123.The REIN...

    44 Magnum ammo question.

https://firearmshistory.blogspot.com/2012/12/measuring-cartridge-effectiveness.html?m=1 There used to be a website called biggameinfo, but it is gone. They had a calculator that gave balistics as well as a optimal game weight. The formula is in the link above.

    Small pistol off brand primers

I've recently tried Ginex for bulk 9mm. No issues primer wise. I sort by headstamp, all seated fine in multiple cases, CCI, Remington and others.

Sooo... Any good 2024 Black Friday deals we should be keeping an eye out for?

https://shop.thecmp.org/product/Ammo/4C3006CS167-100 100ct Creedmoor 30.06 in Lapua brass with 167gr Scenar, Garand safe. For $175ish, it's a great price considering the brass alone is $1.30 on the low side.

    What’s in a screen name

The results of testicular cancer and making light of it. In a bar conversation the other night the question of a prosthetic was brought up. Ping pong balls are for wealthy or well insured with low self esteem. Bar tender wants to open a "Build a Ball" like "Build a Bear" for customs. I thought...

Sidearms & Scatterguns Good Trigger for a Glock 19 Gen 5

@ut755ln I'm not near 500k but am curious as to why you say the Glock Pro has been unreliable? I've put one in a G19, 19MOS as well as a G44 with several 1000s in each with out issue. GF son has a Zev in a Zev frame and it's terrible. No wall, squishy af.

    Higher quality trimmers worth it?

Have one set for 223/556 bulk ammo. Set it once and forget it. But not worth the hassle to do caliber swaps. I also have 308/762 die that have been used once maybe. Loud as fuck with or without the shop vac attached.

Post up your AirPod hearing test results.

Called the tinnitus help line, but it just rang and rang. Not sure who at apple thought this was a good idea, but if it encourages people to wear ear pro it's a good thing. I wonder how accurate it is compared to a "real" test?

    65gr ARX 9mm

Thanks for the input and what to watch for. I hate the thought of changing the spring if only for range practice. Except for these 65gr ARX loads, I've never had a failure through many thousands of rounds running the guns stock. I shoot 124gr for practice and carry. I have a little HP38 to try...

    65gr ARX 9mm

@918v Are you saying an out of battery condition could be caused? Factory spring is supposed to be 18lb. The compressor comes with 18,15,an 13lb springs. I planned on trying the 15lb. I still have 3800 of the 65gr to burn through and plenty of TG.

    U.S. Armament Corp 1903 experience

Recieved mine back from CMP Custom Shop. New Critereon Barrel, modified bolt handle, drill/ tap and mount HiLux reproduction scope, reparkerize all metal, modify and fit new Minelli stock, clean up trigger pull. It's not a cheap conversion by any means, but puts new life in an old shot out piece...
