    MOA vs Mil

This is the core of his MOA=Inches nonsense. If you call 3" instantly = 3MOA or other such stupidity. Because math.

Rifle Scopes New S&B PMII Question On Parallax?

I've always found S&B to be one of the few scopes which have parallel markings that are even remotely closed to being accurate to real world results. Most others can only best be described as in the ballpark. Somewhere.

    MOA vs Mil

Don't be a dolt. He thinks in inches. It will be the elusive North American swallow, which have squirrel testicles. That's why it can carry a one pound coconut.

    MOA vs Mil

No no. He's going to prove to us that coconuts migrate because he can, just by visualization, perfectly judge the air speed velocity of an unladen swallow, minus a few hundreths here and there.

    MOA vs Mil

The point, Wiley Coyote, is that if you think you're able to make an accurate linear determination at long distances and then do the proper conversion, especially if you mix your linear measurements in with your angular measurements, you're going to have errors. And that error will translate...

So...do we now replace MOD (minute of duck) with MOSN (minute of squirrel nuts)?

    MOA vs Mil

You should quit while you're behind. You've clearly demonstrated that your so-called expertise in math is in common core math. Also, your little lesson here also shows that your shooting experience is non-existent. If you want to keep trolling, this will make for great entertainment, but if...

    MOA vs Mil

To be fair, there were some scope makers who actually were using IPHY (inch per hundred yard), aka SMOA (shooter's MOA) instead of true MOA in their turrets, thus adding more to the confusion on the MOA side of the coin. Fortunately, I don't think anyone is still making turrets using IPHY...

You do know that there are scopes that have .05 mil turret adjustments right?

    MOA vs Mil

You're bringing this up again because you keep demanding an answer that doesn't exist. The only linear measurement that matters is the distance to target. Everything else resides in angular measures (and also why metric or imperial is irrelevant), thus mil or moa can both serve the ultimate...

    AI vs. DT

I've owned both and still have my AI. I'd say my assessment and preferences is similar to deersniper's. The DT handles well especially if you need to deal with cramped quarters, but overall, I prefer the traditional bolt layout of the AI over the DT's bullpup configuration.

Going short AND Carbon Fiber...is it worth it?

Shortening 6" in barrel length will definitely yield a noticeable change in balance, and thus, perceived weight. You should see if you can find someone with the barrel your interested in just to test out the change in balance and weight and see if you like it.

    AI comp triggers

As others have said, if you adjust within the capabilities of the comp trigger they're great. Nevertheless, I don't think these as as bombproof as the original triggers. I never have issues with the original. I got the comp because I wanted to have a single stage, which you can technically do...
