Re: Snake boots Snake boots won't stop cactus. You might look into a set of those plastic snake gators. Other than that just try harder to avoid them. I carry tweezers when I'm at the lease.

    M995 Sako TRG-S actions

Re: M995 Sako TRG-S actions As for stock options you can go with the McMillan A5, but you also have to buy their bottom metal. You can also go with a TRG-42 stock, but you also have to run the 42 mag and buy the 42 trigger unit. No problems re-barreling it, as long as your smith will work on...

    barrel for a 243

Re: barrel for a 243 Of course its a personal choice, but you don't really need a break. My 8 year old shoots my 243 great with no break. When you screw a #7 or heavier barrel on it, the recoil is very mild.

Using a war-belt or vest for tactical comps

Re: Using a war-belt or vest for tactical comps One thing about that SOTech belt is, you will need suspenders if your waist is 30-31" or smaller. They aren't quite made for us thinner guys. Even tied back as far as you can get it, it will slide down and wear on you. I did like being able to...

Re: Tac Pro I've had instruction at both TacPro and RO, and shot comps at them and Tiger Valley as well. All are great places to learn and shoot, but my highest recommendation would be RO. Their attention to detail and instruction are truly top notch.
