    375 viersco magnum 2

KiwiGreg: Where did you get the brass, from Viersco? PS: The T5 works great on my 375ST. (skip to 0:40 as he took his time with his first ever shot with a big caliber, mwuhaha). Cleaning the floor with a 375 - YouTube

    375 SnipeTac hangfires

Thanks for all the answers guys!!!! 140gr of N570 is 95% full on the 402MTAC. I also have 24N41 here to play with, but it's even slower than N570. Neck tension seems to be okay, not light, not heavy. Primer: I use a sinclair primer seater and can feel the primer bottoming out each time, but...

    375 viersco magnum 2

Nice rifle Ragnarok!!! I have the XLR as well, an I noticed the cheekpiece has a part cut out. Did you do that yourself? It's a pita to remove the bolt if you don't have a folder, I have to loosen the rear stock everytime.

    375 SnipeTac hangfires

Hi, Just starting to play with my 375 SnipeTac and did some tests to see what the limit was on the charge. Setup: Lawton 8000 34" 1:8 Bartlein Bertram cases, fireformed with CoW CE 402MTAC & GS 414 bullets Vihta N570 ±140gr On the first run with CCI 250 (LRM) I noticed some...

The recoil is very mild for the caliber. My 7-270WSM kicks harder, it has a thin recoil pad and is a very sharp recoil. The 375 uses slow powder and has and extra 10lbs with a thick and soft recoil pas; very good to handle. There's just a loud boom and flash as if the rifle explodes, but it's...

    Barrel Life Expectancy Chart

Same powder in a larger volume also means a much lower velocity. If you take a double based powder, you will need less for the same velocity, but it generally has a lot more energy which cancels out the benefit of less powder (and maybe still even has more wear). There's no one formula that can...

    Barrel Life Expectancy Chart

CMH: It's only a factor if you use the volume for powder. The amount of powder (plus more factors) is a cause of wear. A larger case usually means more and slower powders, less efficient, hence overbore and the above chart. He got the chart from 6mmbr.com where they also have an excel sheet...

    SAKO: pronounced Sah-ko, not Say-ko.

That's kind of subjective, as when you're from europe the american pronunciation sounds stupid :) In most euro countries the accentuation is on the first vowel, while in the US it is mostly the second (Laaapua vs Lahpoooa). Tomato - tomato... well if you say it the second one sounds different ;)

    6.5saum no turn neck

Shooting it and resizing does too. Unless you're shooting BR you'll be hard pressed to see any difference. I've shot the last season in F with an unturned 7-270wsm and could not tell a difference between it and my previous tight neck versions.

    6mmCreed vs 6xc vs 6x47 vs 6 Crusader

I was shooting 110 Bergers and 155 scenars, had a 1:13 twist. Did not think about subsonic use until I already had the 13tw.

    6mmCreed vs 6xc vs 6x47 vs 6 Crusader

Check on the SLR. What powder do you use? The SLR might be a future option, brass costs 1/2 that of the 6.5x47 which I use now.

    6mmCreed vs 6xc vs 6x47 vs 6 Crusader

MoBoost: Thanks for the explantion. Didn't know you used it for neck-sizing only. I always do a minimal FL size to avoid sticking (hot loads), hence the assumption you were FL sizing with the 6BR die. Forming the SLR does more than when you use a new 243 case in a 243 chamber. Fireforming is...
