    Not my goal. Heat retention with a relative compact size is. And also without a lot of noise. I did just stumble upon a product called Temptrol. It's not exactly what I'm looking for, but may work.

    My LGS has the DD on hand. It looks decent, but I'm also trying to get a feeler for what else is out there. As for the dedicated ACOG mount...not my thing. I've tried the chin-weld ECOS and would much rather go 45*(+or-) offset. Thanks for the input though! db
