    I’ve probably put 20,000 through my 5 Savage center fire rifles and have never had extraction issues of any kind. The ejector springs are kind of weak but that’s about it for me.

    First of all I’m surprised that there isn’t any Savage hate in this thread. That’s not usually the case on this forum. I have 5 Savage center fire rifles. 110BA in 338 LM, 10BA in 308, 10BA rebarreled to 6BR, 12FV in 6.5CM, and a 10TR in 308. The only rifle that was a turd out of all of them...

    Bought an 8Lb of H4350 last week at Fin, Feather,Fur in Ohio just outside of Cleveland for $325 on special from $350. Bass Pro had it at $430. They had a bit of everything. They had a bunch of Staball.

    41.2gr in Lapua brass is my go to with 2 different rifles and 3 different bullets. 140 Berger Hybrid Target, 139 Lapua Scenar, and 147 Hornady ELD-M.

    Look at my reply above. Is it worth $1,000 a year difference if it only gives you less than 0.1MOA better groups if you are not competing? I still have some on my bench and will shoot them if I am shooting long distance but not for shooting at my local range inside of 400Y.
