    Absolute Perfection - Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon

    I was able to see the evening parade at the 8th and I barracks in Washington DC a couple of times in the late 1980's. I highly recomend it also. I'm not aware of a better inspection of arms drill in the world.

    I don't advertise my prior service but people I work with know I am prior military and say thanks. Usually around Memorial Day and Veterans Day. I give them the benefit of the doubt that they are sincere and accept their thanks. I usually say " No problem, I enjoyed my time in."

    I'm partial to the M1A but only because it seems old school. No real objective fact based reason other than you get better reach with the bayonet attached on an M1A than you do on an AR design rifle.

    Waterproof MOLLE Backpack

    I just put the stuff I need to keep dry in a water proof kayaking type bag. Then I put the heavy duty water proof bag in the main compartment of my ruck sack. Would that work for you ?

    Russia shoots down drone

    I think the Russians broke the drones communication link using an electronic warfare platform which brought it to the ground. They captured it intact.
