    Re: need info on SASS DPMS They are very accurate, expensive, but reliable.DPMS quality at times may be a little off but it's overall a nice rifle.They are NOT light.... I built an "improved" version of that gun with a DPMS upper and lower I bought a few years ago, I have no regrets.

    Re: Remy 700 build Just checked, they both have the same twist, only difference is barrel length. Personally I like longer barrels for higher velocity, gives you more options. Not looking to start a war here on this issue....

    Re: Remy 700 build I'm not 100% sure but I think the varmint has a slower twist for lighter bullets, may not be the best choice for long range/ heavy pills. BTW putting a rifle action/barrel in a different stock isn't really a "build". Just sayin'

    Re: State arms .50 bmg Can you find the details? Barrel length, type of stock, etc. They did make them with a short barrel which is rather useless for a .50 unless you're hunting.1500 is a good price, new they're approx 2500 and up with about a 6 month wait.
