    Kampfeld Customs is between Ann Arbor and Jackson, but I don't think he's taking work. I could be wrong. John Pierce is in Lansing. Both are excellent. Probably too far, but Short Action Customs is ~40 miles southwest of Cleveland... highly recommend.

    FYI, this is totally possible. Different land/groove diameters (even slight) can and will create very real differences in where a bullet kisses the lands. OP: Bisley chambers are short throated. They generally shoot fantastic. Good luck with your new barrel, I hope it works great for you.

    7mm barrel choices-

    162 amax is good to go for 1000+ yards from a 1-8.5 or 1-9 barrel. They're also out of production, currently. Unknown when Hornady will resume.
